July 5th our 9th day was spent doing some chores in Missoula. I have downloaded only three photos which pretty much depict what the day was all about. Rod hauled Aaron and AJ to the airport early in the morning. We then went to the drug store for some supplies, visiting the Arctic Cat and Polaris dealer in town and picked up an additional storage pouch for the side of the machine. One thing we have discovered is that if you put any of your glasses in a pouch with any other item, they are so scratched by the end of the day that you can’t see out of them. So I picked up a great triple storage pouch made by Kopin and it has a padded storage section for glasses. I also found out the entire pouch is water proof which is great since we have a paper diary stored there for any notes along the way. The rest of the day was spent doing laundry. Rod taught me everything I need to know about laundry soap. We also washed the truck since it was hard to tell exactly what color it was. I though Minnesota and Wisconsin had a lot of bugs, but I’m not sure they have any more than Idaho and Montana. We have decided that one day of rest is most likely good enough and will push off tomorrow morning when our friend Larry from East Moline, Il gets here. He is arriving at 10:30 so should be able to get rolling by noon and I think we have about 50 to 60 miles to Seeley Lake. Can’t think of anything
else. Trip has been beautiful up to this date. Fortunately
we have not encountered any atv groupies so we have not had to deal with
that issue. What a relief that is!!!
