July 30th Sunday day of rest in New Liskeard, Ontario

We didn’t do squat all day.  We drove around the lake, went into Lorrainville, Quebec to find our friend Roger Brisson, then back to town.  

I talked everyone into an ice cream at a great little spot in Notre-Dame-du –Nord.  It was on a busy intersection and we ended up hanging out for about an hour, which meant we had to have a second ice cream cone.  Jon actually got a single scoop then a double scoop of chocolate.  

You also can see that he saved Rod from himself.  We knew if he went in, we would have to go in after him and then one thing would lead to another and well….. you get the picture.

So the night of our rest we once again ate at the Rooster Restaurant in New Liskeard, sat out on the patio and watched the stars come up.  It was great and a needed day to regroup.  I’m not really tired of atving at night, but I am tired of planning routes, hoping the people that are showing us the trails will show up and if I don’t keep good notes for the day, my stories will get boring, as I think they are.  I’ll get a second wind here in a day or so.  See YA!
